MTBS 2023, 2024 Fire: Quarterly Release (January 31, 2025)
MTBS has released 299 newly mapped fires from the 2023 and 2024 fire seasons. Included are map products from 106 fires that occurred in several western states, Alaska, and Hawaii during the 2023 fire season.

MTBS has released 449 newly mapped fires from the 2023 and 2024 fire seasons. Included are map products from 53 fires that occurred in several western states during the 2023 fire season.
MTBS 2022 Fire: Quarterly Release (August 22, 2024)
MTBS has released 348 newly mapped fires in 26 states, including Hawaii and Alaska, from the 2022 fire season. This release concludes the 2022 fire mapping effort. MTBS 2021 Fire: Quarterly Release (August 9, 2023)
MTBS has released 257 newly mapped fires from 2021 fire season. This latest release completes the availability for all the fires from year 2021. This release also includes revisions to 399 previously mapped fires that are now updated in the archive. With this data release to MTBS.gov, the total number of fires mapped by the program increases to 30,418.
